Violets in November

Violets in November
Violets in November. What a surprise that my African Violet is blooming during the month of November. I replanted this violet after it was dying an untimely time. I had this violet for many many years and one day I noticed it was all but dead. It made me sad to think I may have contributed to it's slow demise, because of bad lighting and/or over watering. After I purchased my Baker's Rack, I placed the violet on the top shelf and the sun and the warmth from the kitchen window breathed new life into this violet. I saw it budding this past week and waited patiently for the white and blueish-purple blooms to open, and the wait was well worth it!

From two small leaves to a burst of bright blueish-purple, my violet brings me a smile.
