Dust off the mantel, sweep up the floors, 

clean each window and repaint the door. 

Lay out the china on linens of white, 

polished crystal and silver luster so bright. 

Cut fresh flowers sprinkled with dew, 

arranging in vases of royal blue. 

Roll out the carpets in colors of red,

upon these the couple will tread.

Press your dress and curl your hair,

 hurry up, the guest will soon be there.

All is done, prepare to wait,

here comes the Royals,
