One of the best things that comes in October, besides Halloween, is The Queen City Fair. The seven day event brings our both city and county residents and some Alabama residents. My favorite things about the fair, besides seeing people I know, are the fast rides and the food!
As for the rides, the ones I road this year were: Power Surge, Trabant aka The Mexican Hat, Tilt-A-World, G-Force, Pharaoh's Rage, Cliffhanger, Starship 3000, The Zipper, The Sizzler, The Tornado, The Ferris Wheel, The Bumper Cars and The Music Express aka The Himalaya!

And as for the food, I ate: a hand-dipped 12" Corn Dog, a Philly Cheese Steak,
a Mega Bag of Cotton Candy and a Candy Apple and a large drink!
I gained five pounds after eating ALL THAT!
I love roller-coasters and BIG theme parks. The BIGGER and FASTER the ride, the BETTER!
But this fair will do - for now.
